Hi, I’m Miranda. I created Sugar(ed) Event Design and Planning because I believe that my strengths lie in creating beauty and what other day deserves more beauty and attention than your wedding day?
Sugar(ed) puts the emphasis on (event design) because it’s my passion. My goal is to create something beyond what you had imagined, a fabulous day wrapped up in a whole lot of gorgeous, a day where you don’t have to worry about a thing because we’ve got it all taken care of!
Prior to entering the professional design world nearly ten years ago, I studied both landscape and interior architecture and earned my BSLA in 2002. After college I went on to work at several award-winning landscape architecture firms where I was responsible for the design and implementation of projects ranging from luxury resorts in Morocco to residential estates on Cape Cod. What I bring to the party is an eye for detail, knowledge of the design language and a keen understanding of the importance for strong project management to the world of event design. With my unique background in the architectural realm, I bring a fresh perspective to wedding and event planning and design and I strive to bring the same sense of excitement that I felt when planning my own wedding to your big day.
