sugar(ed) weddings: {ancient spanish monastery}

Amy and Steve were married on a gorgeous January evening at the beautiful Spanish Monastery in North Miami.  The goal for their wedding day was elegant simplicity and I don’t think you could choose a more perfect place to achieve it.  The carved stone arches looked amazing washed with flickering candlelight (and you really don’t need much else to create a romantic setting!)  We might have been the first wedding party to use one of the hallways as the ceremony site and the candle-lined aisle felt warm and intimate.  Soft, white groupings of flowers adorned the family style tables and clusters of white lanterns floated over the dance floor, creating a chic, effortless beauty that perfectly complimented the bride’s style.

A beautiful celebration for an amazing couple; congratulations Amy and Steve!
