What I love the most about these absolutely gorgeous images of Amanda and Lloyd’s wedding is that Lara Rios managed to capture just how much these two adore being around each other. They literally beam in each others presence and seeing those smiles during their ceremony makes this job so fulfilling. It’s not just about flowers and fluff, it’s about two people committing their lives to each other because they can’t imagine not being together forever. Well, ok, it’s a little bit about the pretty stuff too! Avant Gardens did a beautiful job of creating a romantic setting (despite the remnants of hurricane Sandy winds threatening to bring down the ceremony chandelier!) Mixed metallic colors, lots of candlelight, glass lamp centerpieces and soft ivory blooms gave the Four Seasons ballroom an old Hollywood supper club feel, classic and elegant. The finishing touch? Midnight snack cookies flown in from the bride and groom’s home city, New York! I had so much fun planning this wedding with Amanda and her mom-zilla, Betty and I’m so happy to see the joy expressed in these photos! Love you guys!
