sugar(ed) wedding style: peacock blue

I’ve been a little bit obsessed with the ribbon on the bouquet in the top right photo for a while now.  The color is divine and you rarely see it as part of a wedding color scheme.  Peacock blue is such an elegant color when used in the right way.  Just a touch adds a sophisticated, regal feeling, especially when paired with antique gold, slate and blue-toned grey-greens.  Chic, classic and definitely unexpected.

And yes, that is Carrie’s feather headpiece from her ill-fated wedding to Mr. Big that you spy at the bottom!  Even if you don’t trust me, you’ve got to trust SJP.
